what i can't tell you (ribbon spool books)
the question, "how are you?" is rarely answered truthfully. a standard answer is expected, given, and repeated, while one's true feelings may lie beneath. in this series of book objects, the stock answer is repeated while the true feeling is hidden closest to the core.
a full set of spools (six total) will be created in an edition of ten and housed in vintage sewing boxes. various companion pieces will accompany the spools.
individual spools will be created in an open edition and will be housed in a small wooden box, topped with a pin cushion.
